Data SourcesReal-Time Intelligence NetworkNationFiles NFSI Geopolitical Risk Analysis SOURCE REGISTRY Transparency Report & Data Provenance This page shows all data sources that NationFiles uses in real time. v1.109.023 – Source Registry Schema SYSTEM CONFIGURATION: DATA SOURCESAutomated listing of all active intelligence connectors in accordance with compliance requirements. Methodology: ACLED, UCDP, and the NationFiles fusion layerNationFiles combines event-based conflict and security data with editorially curated news and OSINT signals. Two widely cited scientific baselines are ACLED (Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project) and UCDP (Uppsala Conflict Data Program, including the Georeferenced Event Dataset / GED). Both programmes publish codebooks and methodological rules; NationFiles uses their statistics as a transparent reference layer alongside GDELT, media-derived indices, and proprietary engine scores—not as unqualified ground truth. ACLED (overview)
UCDP GED (overview)
Fusion on NationFiles Visible “fusion” cards are intentionally multi-scale: daily signals (GDELT, news risk), medium windows (7–30 days), and slow panels (WGI, annual UCDP layers) are not collapsed into a faux-unified score. They provide parallel axes for analysts. For legal posture, pipelines, and connector inventory continue with the registry below and the Validation & Verification report. Legal basis & transparency:: Processing of wanted-person data is read-only and based on Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR in conjunction with public interest in security. Data Protection & Processing: The listed sources include both non-personal data (e.g. country statistics, geographic or economic indicators) and official wanted-persons and notice data (e.g. INTERPOL Red Notices, FBI Most Wanted, OpenSanctions), which may contain personal data on wanted individuals. No data is transmitted to these sources; access is read-only. Processing is based on public interest and the legal bases of the respective sources. All data is automatically fetched and may be filtered, aggregated and further processed for display and analysis. See Privacy Policy for details. Technical safeguards: Use of TLS encryption, access control, hashing where required and log minimization as set out in the Privacy Policy. Some providers may apply API rate limits; NationFiles complies with the respective terms of use. Availability & data updates: No guarantee of constant availability of external sources. Data is fetched periodically and prepared in updated aggregates; see cron intervals in the registry. Methodology The data sources listed on this page are connected to the Naciro Intelligence Engine via the DataSourceConnector system. Fetching runs on a schedule (Cron) according to the intervals shown in the table. After import, raw data is filtered, cleaned and aggregated, and feeds into visualizations (e.g. maps, dashboards) as well as stability and prediction models. Each source may have a weight (score); values are shown in the Connector column of the registry. The methodology complies with the transparency requirements of this source registry. |
